ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has strongly condemned the desecration of holy shrine of renowned Companion of Holy Prophet and Shaheed-e-Wilayat Hazrat Hujar Bin Adi (R.A.) in Damascus, Syria and termed it inhuman activity on the part of colonial powers and their agents in continuation of their campaign against Islam and Mashaheer-e-Islam and Shariat. In a statement issued here he said the forces averse to Islam had been displaying their internal enmity against the protectors of Allah’s religion from the very beginning who had committed desecration of Shuhada-e-Islam during the era of Holy Prophet (SAAW) and later utilised all their energy in wiping out the signs of Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.), Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Mashaheer in the eras of Khalifates and A’aimma Huda so that people could not know about their good deeds.

Agha Moosavi said the Aal-e-Saud had razed the holy shrines of pious personalities buried in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah and the activity is still going on to wipe out the Islamic signs in the garb of giving further extension. Desecration of holy shrine of Hujar Bin Adi (R.A) shrine is continuation of Aal-e-Saud policy. In Iraq, the shrines of Imam Al-Askareen have been razed in Baghdad Sharif and even the holy shrine of Khalifa-e-Rashid Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) was not spared. Later the graves of Ashab-e-Rasool were also razed to ground in Libya, shrine of Sa’asah Bin Soohaan was destructed in Bahrain, similar attempt was also made in Egypt and now like Afghanistan, the mutineers in Syria were attacking the Nabavi signs and shrines of Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) and Sahaba Kubaar and unfortunately the Islamic World was silent on these incidents of desecration.

The TNFJ chief said that first, the shrine of Hazrat Zainab Binte Ali (S.A.) in Sitta-e-Zainab and later the shrine of Hazrat Sakina (S.A.) were targeted. Now, in Marj Al-Azra city the shrine of Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Hajr Bin Adi (R.A.), whose good deeds are famous through Ummul Momineen Hazrat Aisha (R.A.) was not only razed to ground by the mutineers rather effort was also made to dig out his body from the shrine. According to Syrian Auqaaf Department, when the terrorists razed the Zarih-e-Aqdas to ground and wanted to dig out his body, the earth hid the body under it miraculously.

Agha Moosavi lamented that world organisations were keeping a silence on these acts of oppression and the Islamic World is unable to see these oppressive attitude while the international Islamic organisations were also keeping criminal silence. He said in motherland Pakistan the holy places are under the terrorist attacks for quite long. Many holy places like Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Khushal Khan Khattak, Data Ganj Bux and Sakhi Sarwar were targeted, suicide bomb blast was carried out at Bari Imam but no action was taken against the terrorists. He lamented that most of the Muslim States were taking care of the colonial interests. He demanded from the world organisations to ensure the protection of Mashaheer-e-Deen and Islamic signs without any discrimination otherwise all those places where these holy shrines and signs are placed should be declared open cities.
