Officials expect 17 million to Karbala on Arbaeen

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq:Chairman of the Committee of
Tourism in the holy city of Karbala Jassim al-Maliki predicted arrival
of more than 17 million Iraqis and foreign pilgrims to the holy city
to perform the occasion of Arbaeen al-Hussayni (as).
Maliki said in a press statement, “It is expected to enter more than
15 million visitors from within the country and the number can be
increased.”
He added, "More than two million Arab and foreign pilgrims are
expected to enter the province during Arbaeen."
