Procession on Hazrat Sakinah (S)’s martyrdom held in Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria: A mourning procession to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Sakinah bintul Hussein (AS) was held in the Syrian capital city of Damascus.
The procession, attended by a large number of mourners including men, women and children, began from Hawzah Al-Ilmiyah Az-Zainabiyah and headed towards the holy shrine of Hazrat Sakinah (SA).
People of Karbala in Damascus organized the procession.
The mourners while chanting dirges and performing chest beating offered their profound condolences to the holy family of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) on the occasion.
On reaching the holy shrine, Majlis-e-aza was held. The speaker highlighted the holy life of Hazrat Imam Hussein (AS)’s beloved daughter, Hazrat Sakinah (SA).
Tabarruk was also served.
