Matmi programs pay homage to Karbala Martyrs in Pak

RAWALPINDI, April 12: Matmi processions and Majalis continued throughout the country today to pay homage to Shuhada-e-Karbala who presented exemplary sacrifices for the survival of Tauheed, Risalat and humanity. Annual Zuljinah and Alam procession was taken out in Satellite Town under the auspices of Syed Fakhir Hussain Zaidi. Markazi Matmi Dasta performed Noha-Khwani and Matamdari to present Pursa to Syed-ush-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and their sincere companions. Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi offered Ziarat and took part in Matamdari by attending the procession that terminated at Ali Masjid after marching through its traditional route.

Earlier, Allama Talib Jauhari of Karachi while addressing a Majlis-e-Aza at the residence of DSP Late Shakir Hussain Zaidi highlighted the status of Risalat and Imamat in detail. He said Islam and humanity reigned supreme till eternity, courtesy great sacrifice rendered by Nawasa-e-Rasool (SAW). He said the whole humanity in general, and the Islamic World in particular, are surrounded by the Yazidan-e-Asr who consider Islam a biggest danger for them and desire to stop this message from spreading with the help of their agents.

He said Karbala is the greatest sacrifice for humanity and a best example of Islamic values that would continue to provide highest character to human mind and heart. He said Islam is an eternal movement and a complete system on which Quran also stands witness. It is an eternal revolution that would continue till the Islamic flag flutters all over the world. He said Hussainiyyat is the name of courage and bravery while Yazidiyyat is commensurate with oppression, brutality and cowardice. He called upon the Muslim rulers to take practical lesson from Karbala to let Muslim Ummah succeed with honour and respect.

An annaul Majlis-e-Aza for ladies was held at Imambargah Zainul Abideen under the auspices of Iqbal Zaidi and Anwaar Zaidi. Zakira Mubarak Bano addressed the Majlis that culminated at Matamdari.

Markazi Matmi Dasta performed Noha-Khwani and Pursadari at the residence of Tufail Abbas alias Moon at Khanna Kaak.

The last Majlis of Ashra-e-Safar was held at Aza Khana 231-E, G-6/1 Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman Zulfiqar-e-Haideri. Allama Furqan Haider Abidi addressed the Majlis after which Shab Baidari was also arranged in which renowned Noha Khwan of Karachi Syed Nasir Hussain Zaidi and various Matmi Dastas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad participated in Noha Khwani and Matamdari.

Majlis-e-Aza and Shab Baidari was also arranged at Jamia Imam Al-Sadiq G-9/2 Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman Karawan-e-Abbas in which various Matmi Dastas performed Noha Khwani and Matamdari.
