Iraqi-Shia slams Al-Khoei’s assassination

LONDON: Iraqi Shia Organization has condemned the assassination of Iraqi Shiite leader Sayyid Abdul Majid Al-Khoei, a statement by the group said.
Abdul Majid Al-Khoei, the son of Grand Ayatullah Sayyid Abul Qassem Al-Khoei (late), was assassinated in the Shrine of Hazrat Imam Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (AS) in the holy city of Najaf on Thursday, a week after he returned home from London.
The Iraqi Shia Organization extended its condolence to the bereaved family and Al-Khoei Foundation over the incident and prayed that may Allah overwhelmed the departed soul with mercy, as well as protect all Muslims.
