Imam Hassan (A)’s coffin procession held in Damascus

DAMASCUS, Syria: Commemorative programs – majalis, processions and latmiyaat – to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan bin Ali Al-Mujtaba (AS) were held in Syria with reverence.
On this occasion, Shaheed-e-Karbala Al-Imam Al-Hussain (AS) Organization arranged a mourning procession, which was attended by hundreds of mourners.
Carrying Hazrat Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (AS)’s coffin replica on shoulders, the mourners were pounding their hands on their chests and heads, thus offered their condolences to the Prophet of Islam (SAWW) on the martyrdom of his grandson Imam Al-Mujtaba (AS).
The procession, which began from al-Hawzah Al-Ilmiyah Az-Zainabiyah terminated at the holy shrine of Hazrat Sayyedah Zainab (SA).
