Hazrat Sakina (s)’ martyrdom day marked in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – 16 April: Martyrdom anniversary of Aseera-e-Sham-o-Kufa Hazrat Masooma Sakina Bint-ul-Hussain (SA) was observed today with religious fervor and zeal throughout the country. Majalis-e-aza were held at Imambargahs and Aza-khanas of the country and taboot-e-Masooma (SA) were taken out marking the occasion.

A Ladies Majlis-e-Shahadat Hazrat Sakina (SA) organized by Dukhtaran-e-Islam was held at Jamia-tul-Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. Begum Allama Zaki Haider addressed. At the end of Majlis Taboot-e-Masooma (SA) was brought out and matamdari was performed.

In Magistrate colony Sadiqabad Rawalpindi, annual Majlis-e-Aza under the arrangements of Syed Ibrar Hussain Shah took place at Qasr-e-Imam Ali Naqi (AS) that was addressed by Allama Basharat Hussain, Zakir Syed Riyaz Hussain Shah Rattowal, Zakir Ghulam Jafer Tayyar and Allama Fakhar Abbas Zaidi following which Alam Procession was taken out and Matamdari was performed by different Matami Sangats.

Begum Hashmat arranged a ladies Majlis at Imambargah Zain-ul-Abideen (AS) Rawalpindi after which Taboot-e-Hazrat Sakina (SA) was taken out.

Annual Majlis-e-Aza arranged by Bawa Syed Nazakat Hussain Shah was held at the residence of Raja Iltaf Hussain at Pandora Sed-pur Road Rawalpindi. Majlis was addressed by renowned Scholar Allama Agha Ali Hussain Najafi, TNFJ central leader Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Allama Sheikh Ejaz, Zakir Syed Ali Raza Shah Dawood Khail, Shaukat Raza Shaukat, Zakir Syed Mushtaq Hussain Kazmi, Allama Saqlain Bukhari and Zakir Noor-ul-Hassan Noori. At the end of Majlis Alam Mubarak Hazrat Ghazi Abbas (AS) was taken out. Renowned dirge-chanting poet Zawar Hussain Gohar of D. G. Khan performed Noha Khawni while all Matami Sangats of City participated in Matamdari.

Similar Majalis-e-Aza on Martyrdom Anniversary of Hazrat Sakina (SA) were also witnessed at various Imambargahs of Lahore Multan, Faisalabad, Karachi, Haiderabad, Larkana, Attock, Peshawar, Quetta, Hazara, Azad Kashmir and Northern areas of Pakistan in which mourners by performing Matamdari offered their condolences to the Holy Family (PBUT).
