Chehlum commemoration in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD, Pakistan: On the occasion of Arba’een-e-Hussaini (AS), Safar 20, a Majlis-e-Aza and Jaloos program was held at Imambargah Azakhana Shabbir Dhobi Ghaat, Faisalabad.
Zakir Kalb-e-Abbas, Zakir Karamat Hussain Jafery, Allama Muzammal Haider and Allama Riyaz Hussain Rizvi addressed the Majlis-e-Aza highlighting the importance and philosophy of Arbaeen, or fortieth day after the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW).
Jaloos-e-Shabih-e-Zuljanah and Tazia Imam Aali Muqam (AS) was taken out following Majlis-e-Aza, which terminated at Imambargah Azakhana Shabbir at 10:00 PM after passing through Regal Road, Jhang Bazar, Rail Bazar, Kachehry Bazar, Chiniot Bazar, Ameenpur Bazar and Allama Iqbal Road.
During the procession, thousands of mourners performed Zanjeer-zani and Qama-zani at Ghanta Ghar Chowk to pay rich homage to the Chief of Martyrs Hazrat Imam Hussain bin Ali (AS).
Mukhtar Students Organization Pakistan (MSO), Faisalabad Unit, installed Sabeel-e-Hussaini (AS) and Azadari camp on this occasion to felicitate the mourners.
