Arbaeen commemorated in Denmark

ODENSE, Denmark: Arbaeen commemorative programs were organized in Denmark like other parts of the world to mark the occasion with the mourners offered condolences to Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) and his family (AS) on 40th day after Ashoura.

In this connection, majalis-e-aza wewre held in different hussainiyaat of the country. A three-day majalis program was held at Hussainiyah Rasoul Al-Azam Odensa addressed by Sheikh Abdul Hassan Al-Assadi. Following majalis-e-aza, chest beating was performed. Metham Al-Jawahiri and Nuruddin recited elegies.

A large number of mourners including Pakistanis, Iranians and Afghanis attended an Arbaeen procession organized by Hussainiyah Sayyid-ush-Shohada (AS) and Hussainiyah Ahlul Bayt (AS) Odensa.

Sheikh Al-Assadi and Khateeb Hussainiyah Ahlul Bayt (AS) Sheikh Abu Sajjad led the procession. Chanting “Ya Hussain Ya Hussain”, the mourners were beating their chests. Police contingent was also with the procession for security.
