Hussaini commemoration in Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH, United Kingdom: In commemoration of the great sacrifice rendered by Imam Hussain (AS) for the survival of Islam, an Alam Hazrat Abbas (AS) procession was held on Sunday, 30 March, in Peterborough.
A large number of mourners, dressed in black, attended the procession while performing matam and chanting dirges to pay rich homage to the Master of Martyrs Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).
Residents of Peterborough as well as from other parts of the United Kingdom took part in the mourning procession. Niyaz was also served.
