Kashmiris protest leader martyrdom

SRINAGAR, Held Kashmir: A one-day strike to protest the martyrdom of a Kashmiri leader and top commander Ghulam Hassan Khan paralyzed life in the Indian-Held Kashmir on Friday.
Shopping stores, banks and businesses were closed in the held valley while attendance was thin in the educational institutions and offices.
Thursday, thousands of Muslims chanting ‘we want freedom’ and ‘Allah is great’ attended the funeral of Ghulam Hassan Khan in village Tachloo, 65 kilometers (40 miles) south of Srinagar. Ghulam Hassan Khan was martyred on Wednesday by Indian troops.
