Ayat Al-Hakim to return home after 23 yrs

TEHRAN, Iran: Ayatullah Muhammad Baqir Al-Hakim, the leader of the largest Iraqi opposition group, has decided to go back home, his spokesman Haaj Abu Zeid said Monday.
Talking to a foreign news agency, Abu Zeid said: “Ayatullah Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim has made a definite decision to return home after 23 years in exile.”
According to the spokesman Ayatullah Al-Hakim who heads the Tehran-based Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) had not given a date for his return. It could be in a few days or in a few weeks.
