Iranians commemorate Hazrat Zahra (s)’s martyrdom

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemah Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Mohammad (Peace of Allah be upon him and his progeny), mourning programs continued in different parts of Iran on Friday.

On this sad occasion, flocks of mourners from across the country are visiting the holy shrine of Hazrat Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Reza (Peace of Allah be upon him) in the holy city of Mash’had, and the holy shrine of Hazrat Sayyedah Fatemah Al-Masooma (Peace of Allah be upon her) the daughter of Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazim (Peace of Allah be upon him) in the holy city of Qom to offer them condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of their grandmother Hazrat Zahra (Peace of Allah be upon her).

They hold majalis-e-aza, recite elegies and perform chest beating to commemorate the occasion.

The mourning programs, being held at all mosques and husseiniyaat of the country, will continue till Saturday night.
