5-day Ayyam-e-Aza end across Pak; Condolence offered to prophet (s) By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI: The series of Majalis-e-Aza and Taboot Processions in connection with the 5-day Ayyam-e-Aza announced by the Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to mark the martyrdom anniversary of beloved daughter of Holy Prophet (SAW), Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima-tuz-Zahra (SA), continued on the last day across the country.
Mourners throughout the country attended these processions and Majalis and offered their heartiest condolences and Pursa in the court of Holy Prophet (SAW). Prominent Scholars, speakers and zakireen highlighted the holy personality of Hazrat Fatimah (SA) and described the Prophet (SAW)’s love and respect for the Mistress of Heaven. Addressing to mourners speakers said character of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) is a beacon of light for the women world. Alas after the wisaal of Holy Prophet (SAW) Hazrat Fatimah (SA) faced a host of afflictions that if it had befell days it would have become black nights.
In Rawalpindi, Jarar Hussain Jafery at Dhok Ratta organized central majlis of Ayyam-e-Aza that was addressed by Khateeb fateh Furat, Allama Nasir Muhammadi, Allama Zulfiqar Jafery, Zakir Shajar Hussain Shajar, Zakir Karam Hussain Shah, Zakir Abdul Ghaffar, Zakir Ghulam Farid and various other Zakireen. At the conclusion of Majlis-e-Aza, main Juloos-e-Taboot-e-Khatoon-e-Jannat (SA) was taken out. Dozens of Matami organizations participated the procession and offered their condolences to the Holy Family (AS) by performing matamdari.
In Shah Piyara Chuhr Harpal, sons of Syed Tafseer Hussain Kazmi arranged Khatoon-e-Jannaat (SA) Majlis. Allama Agha Ali Hussain Qummi, Zakir Nasir Abbas Notak, Moulana Maqbool Dhakko, Zakir Ameer Hussain Jafery, Zakir Mushtaq Hussain Shah of Jhang and many others addressed. On this occasion various resolutions were adopted that expressed full solidarity with oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq, and demanded the international organizations to take immediate steps for the solution of all problems being faced by the world. A resolution demanded from the UN to make sure US forces pull out from Afghanistan and Iraq besides holding fair elections there.
Another resolution condemning the Indian atrocities against the minorities expressed concern over the statement of Prime Minister Vajpayee about the construction of temple at the place of Babri Mosque. By another resolution participants voiced their full support and satisfaction over the wise and pious leadership of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and demanded the government to satisfy the Maktab-e-Tashayyo by implementing May 21 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement, and in this regard exert pressure on the Saudi government on diplomatic level to restore the dignity and honour of Jannat-ul-Baqee and Jannat-ul-Moalla which are the Holy signs of Allah.
Demanding from the government arrest of Quetta incident culprits, another resolution called upon rulers to tight noose around the banned groups who are active after changing their names, and implement Anti Terrorism Ordinance (ATO). Another resolution strongly condemned the electronic and print media’s ignoring policy towards Ayyam-e-Aza programs that were observed throughout the country. It said that everyone has right over electronic and print media but it is regrettable that just those programs get coverage that are attended by ministers and their advisors while public programs are deprived of coverage.
A similar Majlis-e-Aza was held at Central Imambargah of G/9 Islamabad that was addressed by Allama Fakhar Abbas Zahidi. A ladies majlis-e-Aza was held at Imambargah Zain-ul-Aza addressed by Zakira Afiya Batool. At the end of majlis Taboot-e-Hazrat Fatima (SA) was brought out and matamdari was performed. In New Katariyan, a Majlis-e-Aza was addressed by Moulana Azhar Hussain Haidery, Zakir Qamar Raza Naqvi and many others. According to reports reaching TNFJ headquarters, majalis-e-aza, taboot processions and matamdari programs were held in Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Larkana, Gujrat, Quetta, Azad Kashmir, Khair Pur Mirus, Faislabad, Jhang, Layyah, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Abbotabad, Hari Pur, Jehlum, Chakwal, Attock, Mandi Bahuddin, Haiderabad, Sakkhar, Dadu, Multan, Nawab Shah, D. G. Khan, Muzafar Garh, Bhakkar, Tank, Kohat, Gilgit and various other cities and towns. END |
