Israel endorses $100mn for new segment of barrier

HELD JERUSALEM: Israeli legislators on Wednesday approved $100 million in financing for the construction of another section of the controversial barrier Israel is building with the West Bank.

According to parliamentary sources the Knesset's budgetary defense committee released the money to build the segment of the network of fences, trenches, concrete and barbed wire in the northern West Bank regardless of Palestinians and international community strongly denounced the project.
