Gaza bloodiest day in 2 months: 8 Pals martyred

GAZA: In the worst violence in the Gaza Strip in two months, at least eight Palestinians were martyred during a major Israeli raid on a refugee camp in Southern Gaza on Tuesday.

The Israeli incursion during which around 4-dozen Palestinians have been wounded and several houses damaged came just hours after a high-level Egyptian peace mission visited Israel.

According to Palestinians about 40 Israeli tanks and armored vehicles entered the Rafah refugee camp on the Gaza-Egypt border early Tuesday.

Hours later, thousands took part in the funerals of the martyrs.
