Atrocities on an Alim-e-deen

INNALILAHI WA INNAILAIHI RAJAOON

"Do not let people with such mannerism into any Islamic organization” -Moulana Ghulam Ahmed Askari sahib Qibla

This is not to inform the unaware of the sad and untimely demise of hujjatul islam ghulam ahmed askari khan sahib qibla on the 10th of January 2003. Death is of course natural and an ultimate end of every living being.

The simple natured marhoom sacrificed a major period of his 51 years of life serving the Shia community as a religious head and also worked in social fields for the betterment of Momineen. Unfortunately in return he could not spend peaceful days during his illness and until his death.

As his ancestors, he was a Managing Muthavalli of the Sarkar-e-Abbasi Wakf, which is also known as the Thousand Lights Charities and a Khadim of Bargah-e-abul Fazlil Abbas .S. This branch of the Wakif's (Donor) family has given Alhamdulillah six generations of Ulema to serve the community not only in Chennai but also in the whole of SOUTH INDIA when there were no Ulemas in Bangalore and other cities. And not once was the Shia community of Tamil Nadu left without a Religious head.

Syed Ali Ispahani the so-called president of the Thousand Lights charities along with the members viz. Azeez Khaleeli, Muntazar Mehdi, Mir Raza Ali, Akber Ali Sayeed Sardar and Mehdi Ali (Asst. to managing Muthavalli) mentally tortured Hujjathul Islam Late Askari Sahib Qibla.

These people were at great loggerheads, disagreeing and disputing with the late Moulana for each and every action, proposal and suggestion put by him for the betterment of the Wakf and Momineen. Due to personal animosity (with an alim) against his high status, this rift and stigma continued for a very long time without any compromise or end, for the simple reason that the committee was in majority and in power with the Asst. Muthavalli Mehdi Ali as a puppet of the so called president.

The degree of hatred and harassment spread like wild fire immediately after Mir Raza Ali was inducted in the committee as a member. This Mir Raza Ali who is also called RAZOO is famous for his infidel activities not only within the Muslim community but also among other religions. He had started a chit fund named Leo finance and chit fund Pvt Ltd. Of which he was the managing director, who looted a lot of people and posters of whom were pasted on the walls of Chennai sometime back. He misused his position as a platform in indulging several false and fabricated allegations against the marhoom Alim-e-deen, with the connivance and backing of the so called president S.A.Ispahani and Mehdi Ali who did not leave any stone unturned for inflicting mental torture and harassment along with other members of the committee.

The said Razoo Dragged the late moulana Ahmed Askari Sahib to the D-2 police station situated at the famous mounat road, CHENNAI, BY lodging a false complaint. But later fearing the momneen rising against his cheap act and baseless complaint changed the complaint in the name of late Moulana’s son hujjtul islam Moulana Ghulam Mohammad Mehdi khan sahib also known as Mehdijan. The doctors who attended the marhoom in his last days pointed out that he has suffered a great mental torture.

The committee members of the Thousand Lights Charities had made false allegations against the Late Moulana to which the Moulana had given an open challenge to come forward to clarify them. But since these were all false allegations, neither the president nor the members had the guts to face him in an open arena.

A few false allegations made by the committee members and the asst. Muthavalli is listed below:

1. A WRITTEN FALSE ALLEGATION STATING TO HAVE STOLEN LUNGIES AND SAREES (CLOTHES WORN BY MEN AND WOMEN IN INDIA) MEANT FOR DISTRIBUTION AMONG POOR WAS GIVEN TO THE TAMILNADU WAKF BOARD AND CIRCULATED TO OTHERS TO TARNISH THE MARHOOM MOULANA'S IMAGE.

2. AN ALLEGATION STATED TO HAVE STOLEN THE HUNDI MONEY FROM THE ASHURKHANA WAS MADE AND GIVEN PUBLICITY WHEN A SYSTEM IS IN THE BARGAH THAT THE MANAGING MUTAVALLI ALONG WITH ASST MUTAVALLI AND THE COMMITTEE TREASURER GOES AND OPENS IT. WHERE DOES THE QUESTION OF STEALING ARISE?

3. A FALSE AND BASELESS COMPLAINT WAS GIVEN TO THE WAKF BOARD MEMBERS THAT THE LATE MOULANA WHO WAS ALSO IMAM JUMA AND KHATEEB USED VULGAR WORDS ON THE MIMBER AGAINST THE ASHAB-E-RASOOL S.A.W. THIS WAS DONE TO TARNISH THE MOULANA'S IMAGE AT THE WAKF BOARD OF WHICH HE WAS A MEMBER REPRESENTING THE SHIA COMMUNITY OF CHENNAI.

As a managing Muthavalli and a descendent of the Wakif of the said charities, he was empowered to sign all-important documents and Cheques. But TWICE the committee had revoked this provision and power even though the Wakf board has invoked it.

The monthly donation given to the Markaz-e-Faiz-e-Islam (a Madrasa and Library run by the Late Moulana) was stopped. Whereas in other parts of the world and in all religions people are working and spending more and more towards such projects to keep their children aware of their religion. And this Wakf is also created for such activities.

The monthly remuneration which was being paid to the Muthavalli managing for their services to the community (as laid down in the Wakf deed) had been stopped without valid reason, when all these members knew quite well of the late Moulana's illness and his high medical bills.

As such it has also become a habit of these people (the president and members) of bringing police and body guards (gundas) into the Ashurkhana (photographs available for evidence) spoiling the sanctity of a religious place and spreading unnecessary false propaganda against the late Moulana using few misfits from the community or mohalla (area).

During the last week of his life he had a great shock when he came to know of the allegations made against his son Hujjatul Islam Ghulam Mohammad Mehdi Khan Sahib (Mahdijan II) stating that he had stolen money from the Asthana. The mujawars were threatened to be handed over to the police on failing to give a statement against the Moulana. But the mujavirs who are God fearing did not agree to such a false act. The Moulana was now fed up with the happenings in Chennai and wanted to spend some days in peace and decided to stay away from this environment and decided to live in Bangalore with his Aunty (daughter of Mahdi Jan I) for a few days. It could have been the wish of Moulana that he did not want to breathe his last in such a place where he was tortured and Allah (SWT) fulfilled his wish.

This information has been passed over the Momineen throughout the world so that no such atrocities are done on an ALIM-E-DEEN as has been done on this Moulana Ahmed Askari Sahib Qibla. As per the Moulana's last wish and will 'DO NOT LET PEOPLE WITH SUCH MANNERISMS INTO ANY ISLAMIC ORGANISATION.

So, we family members, relatives and well wishing momineen of the late Moulana do not want the committee of thousand lights charities to conduct a majlis or take part with any organization doing a majlis for the esaal e sawaab and show false sympathy and condolence like yazeed did to Hazrat Sajjad ibne Hussain (AS) when his position was in danger.

We salute the marhoom’s mother who also suffered along with her son and saw him pass away in the fight for rights and against tyranny. We also pray Allah and the fourteen Masomeen (AS) give her and all the bereaved courage and patience.
