Pak: Sharikah-tul-Hussain (S) Day marked with reverence

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The martyrdom anniversary of lion-hearted lady of Karbala, Hazrat Sayyidah Zainab Bint-e-Ali (SA) was observed throughout the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas like other parts of the world with religious reverence and devotion. On this occasion different religious outfits and organizations organized majalis-e-aza in all big cities and towns while taboot were taken out in ladies majalis.

In Rawalpindi, the main majlis of "Sharikahtul Hussain" was held at Darbar Sakhi Shah Pyara Chuhr Harpal that was addressed by renowned scholars and orators. The speakers termed the holy life of Bint-e-Ali (SA) as a best example to confront conspiracies of Amriyat (dictatorship) and Yazidiyat.

Addressing the majlis, Allama Matloob Taqi said Hazrat Zainab (SA) is that great conqueror of Kufa and Sham (Syria) with whose sermons the palaces of Yazidiyat are still shaking with fear.

By a resolution adopted on the occasion, the majlis vowed to follow the Code of Azadari to be presented by Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in connection with the upcoming Muharram ul Haram.

Anjuman Fez-e-Panjtan women wing arranged a ladies majlis-e-aza at Imambargah Zainul Abidin. Mohtarmah Jamila addressed while Mohtarmah Shamim Tahir and Asma Dogar offered marsiyah-khawani. Later, taboot was taken out and matamdari was performed.

Syedah Labwah Haider and Syedah Jadwah Haider addressed a majlis Sharikahtul Hussain held under the auspices of Dukhtaran-e-Islam.

Allama Agha Ali Hussain Najfi, Allama Muhammad Abbas Qummi beside many others addressed majlis Sani-e-Zahra (SA) at Imambargah Kazmiah.

A mourning procession was brought out from markazi Imambargah Sakhi Shah Nazar Dewan, Syed Kasran following a majlis-e-aza organized by Syed Khawaz Ali Shah.

A majlis-e-shahadat was held at Masjid-o-Imambargah Ahl-e-Bait (AS), Mojezah-gah Wah Cantt. Local speakers and scholars addressed. Later, a host of pilgrims visited the holy Zareeh of Hazrat Sayyedah Zainab (SA), offering condolence to the holy family of Muhammad (SAW) & his Aal (AS) on the occasion.

Meanwhile, majalis-e-aza were also held in Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Jehlum, Karachi, D. I. Khan, Mianwali, Sakkhar, Peshawar, Quetta and Muzaffarabad.
