Ayat Jannati: Iran totally opposed to Iraq war

TEHRAN, Iran: Iran is 100 percent opposed to a possible US-led war against Iraq even if the United Nations Security Council endorses a military action, Tehran Friday prayers' substitute leader Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said.
Addressing thousands of worshippers at the Tehran University campus for the weekly Friday prayers, Ayatullah Janati said: "They (Americans) desire to dominate the oil resources of the region and to interfere in the internal affairs of the regional countries."
He criticized the US congressmen, whom he described as "naïve", for supporting the steps of their President Bush who acts like Stalin, Hitler and Ghengiz Khan.
