Ayat Al-Modarresi throws out foreign occupation of Iraq

KAZMAYN SHARIFAYN, Iraq: At the holy courtyard of the holy mausoleum of seventh and ninth truthful successors of prophet Muhammad (SAW), Al-Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazim (AS) and Al-Imam Muhammad Taqi Al-Jawwad (AS) in Kazmayn Sharifayn, Iraq, Ayatullah Sayyed Hadi Al-Modarresi addressed thousands of cheering supporters.

His address on Friday came in connection with the Ayatullah’s return to the holy land of Iraq from Bahrain after several years of exile. He had left the country in the 1970's.

Addressing the people that were holding up his posters, Ayatullah Al-Modarresi said heroic Iraqi nation that desires an Islamic government in the country run by them strongly rejects foreign occupation of its holy land. He denounced American policies that claimed the lives of millions of oppressed people while demanding US forces immediate withdrawal hence.
