Damascus draped in grief on Hazrat Fatimah (s)’s martyrdom day

DAMASCUS, Syria: Like other global parts, Sayyidatun-Nisa-il Alameen Sayyida Fatimah-tuz-Zahra (SA)’s martyrdom anniversary was commemorated in Syria on Jamadi-ul-Awwal 13.

Marking the occasion, Khidmah Ahlil Bayt (AS) Organization organized an annual majlis at Hussainiyah Al-Hawzah Al-Ilmiyah Az-Zaynabiyah in Damascus on Saturday, July 12 at 9:30 PM.

Quran-reciter Sheikh Abbas An-Nuri opened the majlis with recitation of Quranic verses.

Sheikh Abdur Reza Ma’ash addressed the majlis attended by hundreds of mourners. He spoke on different aspects of the life of the pure mother of 11 infallible Aaimmah (AS) who enjoyed such a lofty status in the sight of prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) that he was used to stand up in her respect.

Later, Ar-Radoud Muhammad Al-Ha’eri Al-Karbalayi and renowned Radoud Al-Haaj Bassem Al-Karbalayi chanted dirges. The mourners by performing chest beating offered condolences to the Prophet (SAW) and his pure family (AS).
