Pak Friday flocks resolve observance of Martyr Day By: Agha Qamar Abbas Kazmi
ISLAMABAD: Friday Congregations held in different mosques of twin cities: Islamabad and Rawalpindi expressed deep concern over the ongoing political row between government and opposition and termed it a “bad omen” for democracy. According to a press release issued here from the office of Jamiat Ulma-e-Jafariya Pakistan, various resolutions were passed during the congregations. Allama Syed Saqlain Ali Bukhari, Imam Juma Wal Jamaat of Markazi Shia Jame Masjid Darbar Shah Chan Charagh, while addressing to the congregation said that the current political situation could provide fuel to our joint enemy but would not be beneficial for the nation and the country. He said to raise voice for one’s rights is a part of fundamental rights. He said today the whole world has accepted that terrorism is the biggest world problem and to solve this it is necessary to understand the factors and reasons of terrorism. Allama Bukhari said according to the saying of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi terrorism could not be rooted out through terrorism. He said today world powers are destroying oppressed in the name of terrorism; therefore, the whole oppressed world should come together at a joint platform and adopt a bold strategy. Khateeb-e-Azadari Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzawari addressed to Friday congregation at Qasr-e-Abutalib Mughalabad. He said establishment of peace in the country is the need of hour, and that we could not support anti-terror campaign on international level without checking it internally. He lamented that Anti Terrorism Ordinance issued by President Pakistan has not been practically followed and banned parties are roaming freely. If government had tightened the grip around them then terrorism incidents would not have happened in Quetta, the province of Prime Minister. He said its painful that rulers go everywhere but they neither visited Shuhda-e-Quetta’s bereaved families nor expressed their grief with them. A resolution passed on this occasion demanded the implementation of 21st May, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement and resolved that Youm-e-Shaheed will be observed with national fervor and zeal on July 6 to pay homage to all Martyrs in accordance with the announcement of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Allama Basharat Raja addressed at Masjid-o-Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadija-tul-Kubra (AS) at Tarlai Kalan Islamabad and condemned the killings of dozens of worshippers in Quetta terrorism incident. He demanded the immediate arrest of culprits. He said that Youm-e-Shaheed to mark the martyrdom of Shaheed Muhammad Hussain Shad and all Martyrs of Shohda-e-Deen-o-Watan would be observed on 6th July. Meanwhile, Allama Sadqi at Jame Masjid Jafariya I/9 Islamabad, Allama Matloob Taqi An-Naqvi at Masjid Kazmiyah Chuhr Harpal and Hafiz Amjad Ali at Jamia-tul-Musheer Wah cantt. addressed the Friday Congregations and prayed for the eminence of Islam and success of motherland.
