TNFJ chief flays Quetta terrorism, announces 3-day mourning

RAWALPINDI, July 4: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e- Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan while condemning the heavy loss of life as a result of hand-grenade and firing attack on Friday congregation at Imambargah Kalan, Mianki Road, Quetta has termed it an open act of terrorism.

In a statement issued from Tehreek headquarters here, he said this incident is a heinous conspiracy to defame and destabilize Islam and Pakistan. He said we still stick to our principled stand that a terrorist keeps no religion or a country; therefore, he should be seen and treated in that context.

Agha Moosavi said international colonial powers were behind the ulcer of terrorism so as to exert pressure on the Islamic World and Pakistan by pitching one Maktab against the other, one country against the other, one tribe against the other, and one brother against the other.

He said the recent incidents of terrorism are the result of incapacity of the Jamali government because Balochistan province is particular target of terrorism since the present government came into power. He said had the government taken notice of terrorist act that claimed the lives of one and a half dozen people before this, and had tightened noose around terrorists, then today’s incident would not have taken place.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while announcing to observe 3-day mourning for the martyrs of incident took place at Imambargah Kalan, Mianki Road, Quetta strongly demanded from the government to unveil the heinous terrorists before the nation, arrest them all and give them exemplary punishment by implementing the Presidential Anti-Terrorism Ordinance, otherwise, he said, we would be justified to understand that the government herself was involved in this incident.

He appealed the people to keep their patience and prove through their character and deeds that all schools of thought are united and no one could create rift amongst them and anyone who would try to do that would not deserve to be called even a human being.

He reiterated his resolve to thwart every conspiracy of the enemies of the religion and the motherland by becoming united and pious. Expressing sympathies with the bereaved families of the martyrs of Imambargah Kalan Quetta, he prayed for the departed souls to be rested in eternal peace and for early recovery of the injured worshippers.
