Quetta incident-affected grief & loss is joint pain of whole nation, Moosavi

RAWALPINDI, July 5: The Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan chief Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Islam is the basic source of high values, standard-bearer of unity, inviter to peace & tranquility and brotherhood & mutual understanding, and defender of respect to the mankind. He stated this while giving his special address at the beginning of 3-day mourning for the martyrs of Quetta incident.

He said colonial powers and her agents were afraid of the Islamic World, therefore, creating rift and differences amongst Muslims and sowing the seeds of hatred amongst them is their foremost task. He said the New York-Washington incident was a mere drama that had been staged to destruct Muslims by separating them from other Muslims. Thus they first rooted out Afghanistan and then destructed Iraq and they are using all their energies to give an impression about the recognized schools of thought that they are enemies to each other and there are differences amongst them but the united slogan of Muslims “that there is no Sunni and no Shia, and they are only followers of Islam” has not only thwarted all their efforts but proved to be a strong slap in their face.

Agha Moosavi has challenged that there is no Maktabi and Maslaki issue but the international atheists are busy in negative propaganda against Islam through media so as to humiliate them. He said our combined enemy who will play more on these lines is playing the whole game. He said Bush, Vajpayee and Sharon would not come to surface themselves but would get it done through their agents who could do all this even in the garb of Muslims. He made it clear that Islam has always condemned all types of biases and terrorism besides terming it a great sin.

He said Britain and many human rights organizations have condemned the American decision to try Guantanamo prisoners. Similarly, America has imposed restriction on Chinese and North Korean companies accusing them of providing atomic equipment to Iran. He said who America is to decide all about that as far as the United Nations is there? He demanded from the ICC, United Nations and other international organizations to bring Bush to the court after getting him booked for anti-mankind crime.

The TNFJ chief terming the announcements regarding Quetta incident during the post-foreign tour Press conference of Gen. Pervez Musharraf said people desire suitable steps to be taken in this connection. Therefore, he said, the President should take personal interest to investigate reasons for not implementing the President’s Anti-Terrorism Ordinance and it should also be probed that why the terrorist groups on which restrictions were imposed, were roaming about by changing their names and are accommodated on the right and the left of the rulers on all important occasions? Is this not an effort to sabotage the Anti-Terrorism Ordinance?

He said the history stands witness that we always exercised patience because we are followers of Syed-us-Sabireen Hazrat Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) but this patience should not be treated as our weakness. We exercise patience because we keep the integrity and solidarity of the religion and the motherland most dear to us, he added.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi called upon the countrymen to keep their eyes open to recognize their combined enemy because the colonial powers were presently busy in a heinous conspiracy against Pakistan, therefore, they should prove through their character and deeds that Islam is not a terrorist religion and its followers have nothing to do with terrorism but Islam preaches peace, solidarity, love and cohesion.

He reiterated his resolve not to get their mutual unity shatter and to thwart every conspiracy against the country and the nation. He said the grief and the loss of the Quetta incident-affected is the joint pain and irreparable loss of the whole nation and the country altogether. All countrymen equally share their grief, he added. He prayed for the departed souls of the Imambargah Kalan, Quetta victims to rest in eternal peace and to give courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
