TNFJ warns of line of action unless culprits not penalized

RAWALPINDI, June 09: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, the Secretary General Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan, while severely condemning the gory murder of 14 young cops in Quetta has termed it flat terrorism and a heinous conspiracy aimed at sabotaging democratic process.

In a statement issued Monday from the Tehreek headquarters, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah said that evil-wishers of the religion and the country are bent upon to shatter motherland’s peace; in such a situation, we should have to work with wisdom and sagacity instead of flying into rage and recognize friend and foe, he added.

Mazhar Ali Shah said President General Pervez Musharraf had taken right and good step issuing Anti-Terrorism Ordinance (ATO) besides banning terrorist outfits and putting them in clamp, but afterwards, the same outlawed groups participated in elections with new names and moved on their old way, and which got support courtesy to the government and opposition who made them sit besides them. He said that we on every occasion drew attention of powers that be to make sure law and order.

Dozens of innocent people have become the target of terrorism in different parts of the country particularly in Balochistan province since Jamali government came into power, Mazhar Ali Shah said adding that we called government attention to the sensitive situation created after murder attempt in Sibbi against a leader of Fiqh-e-Jafariya Syed Muhammad Saqlain Naqvi and heinous murder of Syed Niaz Hussain Shah, Vice-President Imambargah Sajjadia in Quetta on Friday but no heed was given and as a result the incident of martyrdom of cops occurred.

The TNFJ Secretary General said the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has decided to observe Youm-e-Tarheem for these martyrs throughout the country on Tuesday, June 10. On this occasion, Quran Khwani and Majalis will be arranged for elevation of the ranks of martyrs. He appealed the compatriots to remain peaceful and vigilant plus prefer interests of the nation and the country above all keeping their ebullition in control so that every conspiracy of enemies of the nation and the country could be foiled.

Syed Mazhar Ali Shah said terrorist keep no faith and state according to the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, he is just a terrorist who should be viewed and dealt with in the same context.

He said Prime Minister of Pakistan and Balochistan provincial government have been acquainted with sensitive situation created due to Quetta incident and Millat-e-Jafariya’s unrest through special letter and the government has been demanded to implement effectively Anti-Terrorism Ordinance (ATO), and the government and opposition set their allied banned groups apart from them.

The TNFJ official warned that the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya could announce any line of action if the culprits would not be punished after arrest. He appealed to the President Musharraf to issue orders forthwith to tackle terrorism by interfering personally.
