Celebrations begin marking 3-day Ayyam-e-Askari in Pak By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, June 11: The programs marking the 3-day Ayyam-e-Askari in connection with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) began throughout the country on Tuesday on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.
Mahafil-e-Milad and special functions were organized in various Imambargahs, Aza-Khanas and mosques in all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir, Northern Areas, and twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. A special Jashan-e-Askari function was organized under the auspices of Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia. Allama Ghulam Shabbir Wadho, leader of the TNFJ Provincial Council Sindh and Syed Naveed Hussain Shah Naqvi Central Convener Ayyam-e-Askari Committee were guests of honour.
Addressing the function, central TNFJ leader Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that the Muslim Ummah was confronted with various problems just because they were keeping a distance from the teachings of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). He said it is the need of the hour to make the battered society a hub of peace by following the teachings and character of Mashaheer-e-Islam practically. He said Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) not only raised Kalma-e-Haq before the tyrant rulers but also raised the flag of Shariat so as to unveil the faces of so-called Thekedaars (contractors) of Islam. He said today the world is confronted with international terrorism and the oppressed nations should lay down a joint strategy to confront the chief of colonial powers that were bent upon destructing the oppressed and have-nots in the garb of rooting out terrorism. He said practical following of the Uswah-e-Hasana of the pious religious leaders was obligatory to thwart the evil designs of enemies of religion. Zakir Matloob Hussain, Syed Tabassum Kazmi, Syed Bilawal Hussain Shah, Syed Jawwad Hussain Kazmi, Syed Mudassar Abbas, and Syed Qamar Raza Naqvi also addressed the gathering. A resolution unanimously adopted on the occasion while strongly condemning incidents of terrorism in Quetta and Sibbi cities of Balochistan called upon the government to give priority to restoration of peace over all other matters and take concrete steps to thwart the fresh wave of terrorism. Effective implementation of Presidential Anti-Terrorism Ordinance was demanded in this connection. The resolution appealed the Interior Minister to take strict notice of terrorist groups still operating by changing names and whatever action is taken against them should be visible to the people.
Strongly condemning the massacre of oppressed Muslims of Kashmir and Palestine, another resolution called upon international organizations to take strict notice of this oppression and brutality and demanded that the woes of the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine should be attended to. The resolution also expressed complete solidarity with the Kashmiri and Palestinian freedom fighters. Syeda Bint-e-Musa Moosavi and other ladies highlighted the seerat and character of Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) at the Mehfil-e-Askari organized at Bait-e-Murtazvi.
Allama Shaikh Ghulam Askari, Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari, and Zakir Fida Hussain Pidhraar addressed the first session of the Ayyam-e-Askari organized at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Rawalpindi under the auspices of Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib. Mahafil-e-Askari in connection with 3-day Ayyam-e-Askari were also organized at Markazi Imambargah Islamabad, Masjid Haideria Chittian Hattian, Masjid Kazmia Chaur Harpal, and Kazmain Secretariat. Meanwhile, according to reports reaching here, Ayyam-e-Askari function was held in Kohat. Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate Secretary General of the Tehreek presided over the function. Renowned waizeen and zakireen of Bangash area addressed the gathering. In Pindi Gheb, a special function in connection with Ayyam-e-Askari was held at Markazi Imambargah Hussainia. Pir Syed Muhammad Shah Bokhari presided over the function, which was addressed by various ulema and zakireen. In Larkana, Sindh a special function was held at Imambargah Muhallah Murad Wahan. Syed Lutfullah Shah Lakyari Provincial Council TNFJ Sindh President presided over the function addressed by Syed Noor Shah Rizvi, and others.
In Quetta, Mehfil-e-Milad on the first of the 3-day Ayyam-e-Askari was organized under the auspices of TNFJ Provincial Committee. Sardar M. Tariq Jafri, Muhammad Ali Hazara Advocate, and Mehdi Ali Hazarvi addressed the gathering. In Skardu, Ayyam-e-Askari function was held at Markazi Imambargah Sokha Maidan addressed by Akhund Ghulam Muhammad Ammoni, Syed Mahdi Shah, and local zakireen. Syed Sultan Ali Shah Kazmi, Allama Syed Mohsin Abbas Kazmi and others addressed Ayyam-e-Askari function held at Markazi Imambargah Muzaffarabad. In Peshawar, special Ayyam-e-Askari function was organized at TNFJ Provincial Secretariat. Sardar Ali Gul, Ali Asghar Geo, Afzaal Hussain Qazilbash, and others addressed the function. Qaseeda-Khwani was also performed on the occasion. In Karachi, Mehfil Hazrat Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) was organized at TNFJ Provincial headquarters. Syed Arsalan Haider Abidi, Anwar Ali Jafri and Ahmed Barkaat addressed the function. Ayyam-e-Askari functions were also witnessed in Lahore, Jehlum, Faisalabad, Chakwal, Multan, D.G.Khan, D.I.Khan, Sakkhar, Haiderabad and Bhakkar etc. END |
