Qom mourns martyrdom of Hazrat Masoumah (S)

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Sayyidah Fatimah Al-Masoumah bint Al-Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazim (AS) on Rabi-us-Sani 10, annual mourning programs were held in the holy city of Qom.

On this occasion, a grand majlis-e-aza was organized at Hazrat Masoumah (SA)’s shrine housed in the holy city of Qom at night attended by multitudes of mourners, pilgrims and devotees. The speakers highlighted the holy life of Karimah Ahlil Bayt Hazrat Masoumah (SA).

A similar mourning program was held at night at Jamkaran mosque. The speakers and elegy-chanters described masaib of the Masoumah (SA) and thus offered their condolences to Imam-ul-Asr (ATF).

Mourning gathering were also witnessed in takaya, mosques and hussainiyaat at night and in the morning as well.

A mourning procession participated by hosts of chest-beating mourners was taken out in the morning. It culminated at the holy shrine of Sayyidah Masoumah (SA).

Another procession was brought out at night from Bayt An-Nur - the place where Hazrat Masoumah (SA) worshipped for 17 days - heading to her holy shrine.
