Thousands attend funeral of four martyred Palestinians

GAZA: Thousands of Palestinians took to streets in Gaza on Monday for the funeral of four Palestinians, chanting anti-Israel slogans and vowing revenge.
According to Palestinian hospital sources the four Palestinians were martyred on Sunday in the Gaza Strip when two Israeli tank shells struck them. Some others were wounded in the attack.
The attack came as US and other international mediators sought to rescue a new Middle East peace plan.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli soldiers had martyred a senior Hamas commander in the West Bank Abdullah Kawasmeh in the West Bank city of Hebron.
