Gaza rally calls for release of Pals prisoners

GAZA CITY: Palestinian demonstrators on Thursday staged a rally in Gaza city calling for the release of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Holding Palestinian flags and chanting anti-Israeli slogans, the protestors massed at the International Red Cross office.
According to human rights groups fact sheet over 600,000 Palestinians have been held in Israeli lockups since 1967, while during 1987-1994, Israel arrested some 175,000 Palestinians.
