Mujahid-e-Millat Conference held; Banned outfits reining demanded By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, June 29: Haider Syed, Central Secretary Information of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has said that effective implementation of President’s Anti-Terrorism Ordinance giving up all reservations and fixing the banned groups that were active changing their outfit is the need of the hour. He stated this while giving his presidential address at Mujahid-e-Millat Conference held at Zainul Abideen Academy Rawalpindi to remember Pakistan Movement worker, and former Secretary Finance TNFJ, Late Raja Jehandad. He said law and order issue has become threatening since the present government came into power. He said massacre of innocent countrymen in Balochistan province is a big question mark for the powers that be. Haider Syed said had the President’s steps against terrorism been transformed into reality and had the government avoided making the banned groups sit on her right and left, the rulers themselves would not have faced that much difficulty they were facing today. He said when the politicians that comprise the present opposition were in power the double M.As of sectarianism and terrorism were with them also at that time. He said politics of self-interest is our national tragedy owing to which democracy could not take its root to-date. The TNFJ Secretary Information said that Late Raja Jehandad was a simple soul and Malang-ul-Maula who was seen with equal respect in religious and political circles. Mujahid-e-Millat like him is born in centuries, he added. He said the whole life of Raja Jehandad was spent in serving the religion and welfare of the people. His sacrifices for the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya are unforgettable, he said adding that he worked with Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi as his right hand and remained busy in the mission of “Wila” and “Aza” till he breathed his last.
