Imam Al-Askari (a)’s martyrdom observance in Iran

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: Martyrdom anniversary of father of Imam-ul-Asr (ATF), Hazrat Imam Hassan Al-Askari is being observed across Iran with respect on Rabi-ul-Awwal 8.
Azadari – majalis and matam - began after Maghrebain prayers on Rabi-ul-Awwal 7 at mosques, hussainiyaat and takaya (tombs of Imam-Zadgaan).
In the holy city of Mash’had, throngs swarmed on the holy shrine of Hazrat Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Reza (AS) offering him condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Askari.
Similarly hosts of mourners extended condolences to Hazrat Fatimah Al-Masoomah (SA), the daughter of Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazim (AS) and sister of Hazrat Imam Ali Ar-Reza (AS) by visiting her holy shrine housed in the holy city of Qom and performing azadari there.
