Bahrainis mark Prophet (s)’s martyrdom

MANAMA, Bahrain: The martyrdom anniversary of Ar-Rasoul Al-Adham Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW), like other parts of the world, was commemorated across Bahrain.
Marking the occasion, Majalis (mourning gatherings), Latmiyaat and Mawakib Azaiyah (mourning processions) attended by thousands of mourners were held in different mosques, hussainiyaat and Maatam including Maatam Al-Imam Al-Baqer (AS) Bouri, Masjid Fatimah-tuz-Zahra (SA) Hamd, Maatam bin Salum Manama, Maatam Ad-Darah, Maatam As-Samamik Manama, Hussainiyah Al-Qassab Manama, Maatam Al-Haaj Ali Al-Mulla Sanad, Maatam Raas Ar-Rumman, Hussainiyah Al-Haaj Ahmed bin Khamis and many others.
The commemorative programs began from Safar 27, April 29, Tuesday night and culminated on Safar 28, April 30, Wednesday with Coffin replica processions.
The speakers threw light on the holy life, character and manners of Ar-Rasoul Al-Adham Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW), respected father of Hazrat Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra (SA) and brother of Al-Imam Al-Ali Al-Murtaza (AS) and the grandfather of Youth of Paradise Al-Imam Al-Hassan (AS) and Al-Imam Al-Hussain (AS).
Tabarruk was also served.
