Rajasthan Muslims ask for basic rights

NEW DELHI, India: Muslims in the Indian State of Rajasthan have urged the government to take measures for giving them fundamental rights, reports said Tuesday.

The Muslims called upon the administration to set aside a quota for them in employment opportunities particularly in the police and defense forces, and at educational institutions: schools, colleges and universities, as an affirmative action.
