Peace Day: Moosavi’s message marking Prince of Peace (a) birthday

RAWALPINDI, November 10: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has said that the whole world by following the footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) should have to avoid violence and adopt peace as a habit so as to restore international peace.

He stated this in a message issued on the occasion of Jashan-e-Wiladat of Nawasa-e-Rasool Shahzada Sulah-o-Aman Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) that is being observed as Youm-e-Aman, or Peace Day, throughout the country on Tuesday.

He said Islam preaches peace and tranquility and Muslim is the one from the hand and tongue of which the other Muslims are safe while Momin (believer) is a person from whom the humanity is safe. He said the foremost objective of the Khasan-e-Khuda (selected persons of Allah) had been promotion of peace that is why Paighambar-e-Islam is called Rematul Lil Alameen and objective of his Be’sat has been declared completion of moral values. He said his pious life stands witness that he never committed aggression, always discouraged biases and oppression and adopted defensive strategy.

Agha Moosavi said that great personality of Khanwada-e-Ismat and Taharat Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.) following his grandfather Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW) adopted Sulah-e-Madina like Sulah-e-Hudaibia to declare upon the world of humanity that we keep the desire of Allah, correction and welfare of His creation dearer of our selves rather of everything else. Therefore, despite having the capacity and power, he gave preference to peace for human welfare and strengthening religion and Shariat but made it clear through his deeds that we have adopted the course of peace but did not enter into any bargain.

He said the substance of some of the conditions of Sulah-e-Hassan is that respect should be shown to human blood, encroaching upon their rights should be avoided, followers of the Imam (A.S.) should not be called names and no oppression or brutality should be carried out against his companions, and the most important of them all that Kitab-e-Khuda and Sunnat-e-Rasool must be followed.

The TNFJ chief said had the rulers followed this condition only then oppression and brutality would not have been in sight, peace would have prevailed all over but this condition was always avoided therefore, the oppressed and Muslim people are not only confronted with problems and difficulties but are still in the grip of international colonial powers from all around and facing their atrocities.

He said on the occasion of New York and Washington incident, we had said that terrorism is a great oppression and evil could not be rooted out through evil. Today, the world has witnessed that instead of rooting out the terrorism is continuously increasing, he added. He said bomb blasts are being reported from Afghanistan and Iraq the day in and day out and now even Saudi Arabia has not remained safe, all this is a part of the same heinous conspiracy that has been unveiled in a report issued by a non-partisan organisation. According to that report, he said all this was happening under the planning laid by American planners in which it had been said that monetary and economic condition of Arab States would be weakened to the extent that America would buy Arab oil on prices lesser than water and would sell them clean drinking water on exorbitant prices by 2005.

He said dual American policy has been unveiled because she preaches the lesson of reducing weapons to the world and was piling up the armament herself while her agents were signing agreements with each other, and arms were being sold out. Therefore, wherever there is terrorism, instability and tension, the main accused of this situation would be chief of colonial powers America.

Strongly condemning the act if terrorism in Riyadh, Agha Moosavi repeated his point of view spread over last 20 years that a terrorist keeps no faith or a country, he is just a terrorist and should be seen and tackled in that context. He made it clear that struggle for independence and freedom is not terrorism rather encroaching upon the rights of others is the biggest act of terrorism.

Therefore, he said, all international organizations including the United Nations and the OIC are under the obligation to accept the rights of the righteous to ensure world discipline, blessing, welfare, peace and tranquility if they desire to root out terrorism and go for immediate American withdrawal from Afghanistan and Iraq and get the United Nations Resolutions about Kashmir and Palestine implemented so as to get them rid of America and her agents if they desire to get their honor and confidence restored.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while greeting the Ashqaan-e-Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat on the auspicious occasion of Jashan-e-Wiladat of Nawasa-e-Rasool Farzand-e-Ali and Batool Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S.), reiterated his resolve to continue his practical struggle for promoting peace and rooting out oppression and brutality by following the teachings and sayings of the Imam (A.S.).
