Damascus celebrates Sibtur Rasoul (p)’s birth anniversary

DAMASCUS, Syria: Special Ehtafalaat, or festivals and galas, marked the birth anniversary of the Chief of Youths of Paradise Al-Imam Hasan bin Ali Al-Mojatab (as) in Damascus – the city of Sayyedah Zaynab (as), daughter of Al-Imam Ali (as).

Different organizations and associations arranged the programs at mosques, husseiniyat, religious centers and the holy mausoleums of Sayyedah Zaynab (as) and Sayyedah Roqayyah (as) that were attended by throngs. The programs kicked off on Ramadan 14 evening.

A ceremony marking the occasion was held at Hawzah Ilmiyah Zaynabiyah. Sayyed Shaker Al-Mehnah addressed the gatherings, which also included religious scholars and figures.

He highlighted different aspects of the holy life of the beloved son of Al-Imam Ali Al-Mortada (as) and Sayyedah Fatimah Az-Zahraa (as), Al-Imam Al-Hasan (as) urging the need of following his pious path.

Meanwhile, special iftar banquets were arranged to mark the happy occasion.
