Report: World witnesses programs of mourning and layali Al-Qadr By: Raza Ali BERLIN, Germany: A’maal of the first of three layali Al-Qadr, or the Nights of Glory, were held on the night of Ramazan 19 in all parts of the world with spirituality and devotion besides mourning programs marking the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (as).
Swarms streamed into the holy Shrines of Imam Ali (as) in the holy city of Najaf (Iraq), Imam Hussain (as) and Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (as) in the holy city of Karbala (Iraq), Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (as) and Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (as) in Kazmain Sharifain (Iraq), Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi (as) and Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari (as) in Samara (Iraq), Hazrat Imam Ali Reza (as) in the holy city of Mash’had (Iran), Hazrat Fatimah Masouma (as) in the holy city of Qom (Iran), Hazrat Zainab (as) in Damascus (Syria) to perform A’mal of the Layla-tul-Qadr. A’maal include offering special prayers, reciting special adiyah and seeking forgiveness from Allah. Majalis-e-aza were also held there attending which the mourners offered their deep condolence to the prophet Hazrat Muhammad (saw) and his holy family in connection with the martyrdom of Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali (as).
A’maal and majalis were also held at mosques, hussainiyaat, aza-khanas, maatam, imambargahs, tombs and Islamic centers in United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, China, Japan, Holland, Denmark, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Indonesia.
