Husseiniyah Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (as) in Stockholm as well as other husseiniyaat organized special commemorative program that began from Ramadan 19 - the night of injury (Darbah) – and ended on Ramadan 21 – the day of martyrdom of Imam (as). Sheikh Jalal Ma’ash addressed at husseiniyah Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (as). He described masa’eb of Imam (as) in detail: the 19th Ramadan night, which Imam Ali (as) spent in great unrest and on asking her daughter Sayyedah Umm Al-Kulthum (sa) he replied ‘this is the same night’. She asked: ‘which night… what will happen this night?’ he replied: ‘Your father will depart you in this night.” This made Imam (as)’s beloved daughter crying and imam consoled his daughter saying that everyone has to taste the death. He said that Imam (as) opened his 18th fast at the home of his daughter Sharikatul Hussein Sayyedah Zeinab (sa). He described the time when Imam was about to approach Kufa Mosque and his ducks held Imam (as)’s aba (cloak) in a bid to stop him from going to the mosque; how ibn-e-Muljim (l) struck Imam (as) and he was in prostration; then he threw light on the days from 19th till 21st Ramadan. Later, Latmiyat (pounding chests) was performed. Sahour (meals at dawn) on 19th and 21st Ramadan were also arranged. Meanwhile, Amaal – prayer, putting Quran on head, reciting Joshan Kabir etc - of two of three Layali Al-Qadr on 19 and 21 Ramadan were also performed. Besides this, daily Ramadan programs are held at the Husseiniyah Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (as).
