Preparations for printing Jerusalem Holy Koran By: Ahmad Hammadi NABLUS: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in occupied Palestine has declared the formation of a committee for printing a first copy of holy Koran in Palestine under the name of “Moshaf Beit-ul-Moqaddas” (Jerusalem Holy Koran). According to Sheikh Yousef Jumah Salamah, the chargé d'affaires of the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the creation of the committee took place for printing of the first Palestinian Holy Koran, following the request of the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat from the Ministry of Religious Endowments. Salamah said the main reason behind the issuing of this copy at this time came for fastening Muslims all over the earth by the first of the two Qiblahs. He pointed that number of the copies which printing will be carried out by the ministry on its expense arrive to 50,000 copies, and its distribution and spreading will take place inside and outside the motherland.
