Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed: Moosavi’s special message

RAWALPINDI, November 20: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has stressed upon all international institutions including United Nations to play their role for liberation of Al-Quds Ash-Sharif and other occupied Muslims territories advising Muslim Ummah to adopt bold strategy for resolution of its problems.

In his message issued on the occasion of Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin (Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed) which is being observed with religious devotion and spirit in Pakistan on Jumatul Wida, November 21 like other parts of the world, he said the objective of observing Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin (Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed) is to protest against Israel’s inveterate usurpation of Al-Quds Ash-Sharif and continued colonial oppression and despotism in Palestine, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq and other Muslim States besides display of solidarity with oppressed which is our fundamental right.

Agha Moosavi stressed that unveiling the oppression of oppressor has been the habit of Men of Truth, which is also permitted by the Holy Quran. Verse 148 of Chapter An-Nisa (The Women) stands witness, which declares that Allah likes not that one reveals anyone’s evil thing save he who was a target of oppression, and Allah is Hearer, the Knower.

He said Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin (Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed) is being observed in the month of fasting, which is called the Month of Allah, and this day falls in the last ten days of Ramazan during which Allah’s Wali Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (AS) was martyred. He said a saying of Ameer-e-Kaenat Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (AS) goes that be the enemy of oppressor and helper of oppressed; ergo, We while supporting the oppressed of the whole world including that of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Chechnya and severely condemning the atrocities being committed against them appeal Muslim rulers that for the sake of Allah display courage besides drawing a joint strategy for their protection and defense.

The TNFJ chief forcefully demanded from thee UN, OIC, ICC, EU, AL and international institutions that claim basic human rights to get colonial occupation end in Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Kashmir and Palestine plus get Bush, Blair and Vajpayee severely punished by bringing them in court. If this will not be done then there would be no justification for existence of these institutions, he made clear.

He warned Muslim rulers that if they would not awake and nor abandon subservience to colonial powers then they should bear in mind that ‘even your tale will not be in the tales’. He made clear that we keep dearest elevation and interests of beloved motherland Pakistan, oppressed and Muslim people and Islamic World.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Sha’a’ir and Ayaat (signs) of Allah, Asaar and Ala’im (relics, remains and signs) of Prophets, Messengers and Divine Selected Persons are respectable; everyone who keeps love for Zaat-e-Ilahi definitely keeps dear everything that belongs to Him because it is a rule that beloved’s everything is most dear.

The places that belong to Allah, one of them is Bait-ul-Moqaddas, which houses in the land of Palestine. Its old name was Kan’an that consists of an area of 25,000 square km. It is Qibla-e-Awwal (First Qibla) that remained Qibla of Muslim Ummah till 2 AH. The first verse of Chapter Bani Israel (Children of Israel) makes clear its dignity and lofty status: “Pure is He who caused His servant to travel by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque the surroundings whereof We have blessed so that We might show him of Our signs. No doubt He is the Hearer, the Seer.”

The Lord of the Worlds took His greatest Servant from Bait-ul-Haram to Bait-ul-Moqaddas, objective of this travel was that to show him of His signs. Summary is that the objective was to show him marvelous miracles and wondrous arrangements of His omnipotence during this trip or taking him to some farther place, therefore there is a mention of these signs in Chapter An-Najm (The Star) in such a way which tells that the Holy Prophet (SAW) went to Sidratul Montaha and saw with his own eyes the greatest display of Divine Signs. In the tongue of religious scholars, the journey till Bait-ul-Moqaddas is called “Asra” while from there to Sidratul Montaha the journey is called “Me’raj”. He said Holy Prophet (SAW) went to Me’raj in wakefulness state with his holy body.

Agha Moosavi said Bait-ul-Moqaddas is a collection of visible and invisible blessings as well as an abode and burial place of Prophets and Messengers, which has been a fountainhead of blessings and refulgence. Likely the reason of taking holy Prophet (SAW) to there was that there exist is his (SAW) personality qualities and miracles of all prophets and he was given a hint that that Muslim Ummah not only bears Bait-ul-Moqaddas but also refulgence and blessings of Bait-ullah, and considering Sha’a’ir Ullah blessed is felicity and worship.

He said considering the signs of Selected persons of Allah, Prophets and Messengers revered and respectable is a portent and sign of love, affection and devotion, and their protection, defense, construction, honor and respect is obligatory on the entire humanity.

He said unluckily, on the same day 14 May 1948, 1367 AH, when British occupation came to an end, National Council for Zionists was formed in Tel Aviv and establishment of Israeli government was announced which was immediately recognized by the then American President. After the beloved motherland Pakistan, it was the second ideological State on the earth face. In 1967, it attacked Egypt, Syria and Jordan whereby it understood the weakness of Muslims resulting in its encouragement. Therefore, it set Al-Aqsa Mosque on fire in 1969.

He said the way Israel has disgraced the Palestinians since then to date, trampling their honor and slaughtering them ungrudgingly it is a bloody story. Had Arab world helped at that time Egypt, Syria and Jordan, Al-Aqsa Mosque would not have been torched. Owing to weak policy of Arabs, Camp David Agreement was signed and Egypt recognized Israel; due to non-cooperation of Muslim Ummah, Palestine also recognized Israel on 9 September 1969.

Feeling the pain of this great incident, OIC was formed which first conference was held in Morocco on 22 September 1969 which continued for three days. This conference was summoned to react against the defiled intrepidity of torching Al-Aqsa Mosue in occupied Bait-ul-Moqaddas.

Muslim rulers felt that measures should be taken from joint platform to confront the international-level dangers and challenges including Zionists expansionism faced by Muslims. Therefore, OIC was established with its headquarters in Saudi Arabia. The first session of Islamic Foreign Ministers took place in March 1970 in Saudi city of Jeddah during which the formation of OIC secretariat was approved. Some points of the OIC organizational manifesto presented were: Promotion of Islamic unity, nexus of cooperation in significant fields, end of racial biases and colonial system, efforts for steps of international peace and tranquility on principles of justice and equity, protection of holy places, supporting the efforts for rights of Muslims, supporting the struggle for achievement of freedom, independence and national rights. These rules were also fixed: equal rights for member States, non-interference in each other’s affairs, supporting right of self determination, and respecting every member State’s independence, integrity and solidarity. In case of any difference, efforts will be made for peaceful solution through dialogue, talks, and arbitration, and threat of use of force against national unity and political and regional independence of member States will be avoided.

Agha Moosavi said the 10th summit of OIC was held in October 2003 in Malaysian city of Putrajaya. At present there are 57 Muslim countries, among them are 22 Arab and 35 non-Arab. Nearly 36 years have passed since the formation of OIC but its performance is zero.

After Afghanistan Iraq was destructed in the garb of New York-Washington incident and still there is occupation of international colonial powers. Only at the instance of Colonial chief, Hindu banya not only swelled pressure on Pakistan but also has been massacring Kashmiris since last 55 years. Israel has made the life of Arabs hell. Either it is South Asia or Middle East peace balance has gone wrong. Alliance of International terrorist and Hindus-Zionist is not for rooting out terrorism but to destroy Muslim and oppressed people, sabotage independence movements, pushing them back from their stance, maintenance of its supremacy and gaining its interests by disgracing them. It is still busy in the same, and for this purpose not only weapons and arms are piled up but also new agreements are being clinched in a bid to exert further pressure, get Muslim Ummah to agree at everything and tell the world that there exist nobody named as OIC, UN, AL and EU, but if there is anything in the world it is only United States and its stooges India and Israel.

Moosavi questioned OIC that whether it acted upon its manifesto, if not then responsibility of all problems and troubles goes to its shoulders. He said OIC and UN are puppets of United States.

Reiterating his support for oppressed and weak of the entire world on the occasion of Youm-ul-Quds Himayat Mazloomin (Day of Quds Solidarity with Oppressed), the TNFJ chief saluted their untiring struggle for independence.
