UN advises Arabs to emulate Imam Ali (p)’s philosophies By: Mohamed Ali NEW YORK: The United Nations has advised Arab countries to take a leaf from the life of Hazrat Ali ibn-e- Abi Talib (peace of Allah be on them), son-in-law and first infallible successor of holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be on him & his pure progeny), reports said Sunday. The Arab States should also emulate Imam Ali (peace of Allah be on him)’s philosophy and stance toward such things as encouraging the acquisition of knowledge, the practice of justice and institution of democracy, the UN said. The UNDP has published extracts from the pronouncements of Hazrat Ali (peace of Allah be on him) on all these concepts of knowledge, justice, and democracy. END |
