Najaf chieftains call on Ayatullah Saeed Al-Hakim By: Ismail Zabeeh HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: A delegation from the chieftains of clans of the holy city of Najaf met with Ayatullah Sayid Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim, reports said. The chieftains declared their allegiance for standing jointly under the flag of true marja’iyah, the defense for it and about their sacred city. Ayatullah Al-Hakim, on his side, showed thankfulness of these impassioned feelings, and cleared that the sons of this city endured since long ago the responsibility of the defense of the holy City and the responsibility of the service of the visitors of the holy shrine of Al-Imam ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (peace be on him).
