Jammu Martyrs Day: 8 martyred in Indian State terrorism

SRINAGAR, Held Kashmir: Kashmiri people on Thursday observed “Jammu Martyrs Day” with rekindling of pledge to continue the mission of those who kissed martyrdom struggling for liberation.

Marking the day, special programs were held in different parts of Indian-occupied Kashmir and liberated Kashmir paying rich tributes to the martyrs.

The Day is observed in commemoration of hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris who were martyred while on their way to Pakistan by Dogra armed forces and Hindu hardliners in Oct, Nov 1947.

Meanwhile, the Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism have martyred eight more Kashmiri youth at various places in occupied Kashmir, according to Kashmir Media Service.
