Day of Grief marked in Pakistan with reverence By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, November 6: The Death Anniversary of Ummul Momineen Mohsinah-e-Islam Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was observed throughout the country as Youm-ul-Huzn, or the Day of Grief, on Ramazan 10 Thursday with religious reverence on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Majalis-e-Aza and Matamdari programmes were organized in all cities and towns on this occasion. Ulama-e-Karaam, waizeen, and zakireen highlighted the seerat and character of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) in detail. They said that courtesy to Hazrat Khadija (S.A.)’s cooperation with Holy Prophet (SAW) today flag of Islam is fluttering high everywhere. The speakers urged the Islamic world to follow the path of Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) for economic development and stability.
Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while addressing Majlis Youm-ul-Huzn said Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is a great Mohsina-e-Islam and the Ayah-8 of Surah Waz-Zuha of Holy Quran stands witness to it. He said Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) also enjoys the status of first certifier of messenger. She showered all her wealth in the feet of her most beloved personality the Holy Prophet (SAW) for promoting Islam, therefore, the Creator termed it as her support and assistance for the Holy Prophet (SAW). Her wealth was spread to every nook and corner of the east and the west that she fixed for announcement of Kalma-e-Haq so much so that Hazrat Khadija’s (S.A.) home turned out to be an abode not only for the Prophet (SAW) but also for all Muslims. The poet says: Agha Moosavi said she was not only the symbol of Ismat-o-Taharat but the flag of Islam is fluttering all over the world owing to her offspring. He said seerat and character of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is the beacon of light for women world and the oppressed world. He said at present the world was being pressed by oppression, brutality and aggression, a new story of oppression is being written in Iraq and Afghanistan. He said one such story was written on November 6, 1947 by the oppressed Kashmiris when forces of the Kashmiri Maharaja massacred thousands of Kashmiris and the Kashmiri freedom fighters were still struggling for independence there and their invaluable sacrifices are no more a secret. He said arranging the plebiscite in Kashmir in the light of the United Nations Resolution keeping to the desire of Kashmiris is the basic condition for realizing the dream of restoring peace in South Asia. Similarly, he said, life of Palestinians is also being made difficult and there is no one to come to their help. The central point of all these movements, he said, is the Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).
In Rawalpindi, TNFJ divisional Youm-ul-Huzn committee arranged a Majlis-e-Aza at Imambargah Zainul Abideen (as) that was addressed by divisional president Al-Haaj Ghulam Murtaza Chohan and TNFJ central secretary information Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi. A Majlis-e-youm-ul-huzn arranged by TNFJ divisional secretary information Syed Wiladat Hussain Kazmi was held at Makhdoom House Banni Mohalla Rawalpindi addressed by Allama Zawar Hussain Madni, Zakir Hassan Raza Kiyani and Zakir Bashir Hussain Niyaz. At the end of the Majlis, special prayers were made for oppressed Palestinians, Kahmiris, Iraqis and Afghanis. Anjuman-e-Ghulaman-e-Abutalib (as) organized a Majlis-e-Aza at Qasr-e-Abutalib Mughalabad. Allama Sheikh Ghulam Askari, Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani and Naseer Hussain Subzawari addressed the majlis. Allama Muhammad Ali Haleemi addressed a youm-ul-Huzn gathering at Ali Masjid and threw light on the great services of Hazrat Khadija (SA) for Islam. Allama Qamar Abbas addressed at Haideriya Masjid Chitiyan Hatiyan. At Imambargah Bait-ul-Huzn New Katariya, Khatoon-e-Jannat Press organized a Youm-ul-Huzn program. Various prominent scholars addressed. Majalis-e-Aza were also held at Central Imambargah Kot Syedan Gujjar Khan, Sakhi Shah Pyara Chohr Harpal and Imambargah Jageer Ali Akbar Chak Bagwal that were addressed by ulama. And at the end of the majlis, matamdari was performed.
In Dera Ghazi Khan, historic annual procession was taken out on Youm-ul-Huzn organized by renowned poet Hussain Gohar. The procession was attended by more than 100 matami sangat that performed matamdari and offered their pursa in Holy Court. In Peshawar, TNFJ Youm-ul-Huzn Committee arranged a Majlis-e-Aza at Imambargah Master Ghulam Haider addressed by prominent speakers and zakireen. Marsia khoani in Persian was also held on this occasion.
In Atrasi Village Tehseel and district Muzafarabad, a Majlis-e-Youm-ul-Huzn was addressed by Irshad Naqvi. Meanwhile, according to reports reaching here at Tehreek headquarters, Youm-ul-Huzn Majalis were also organized in Markazi Imambargahs and mosques of all other cities of the country including Federal Capital Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, Faisalabad, Multan, Haiderabad, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Larkana, Sheikhupura, Jhelum, Attock, Chakwal, Gujrat, Sialkot, Sakh’khar, Badin, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ismail Khan, and Khushab. Matamdari was also held after Majalis to pay condolences of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) to Rasool-e-Khuda (SAW).
During the Majalis, special prayers were made for end of problems being faced by the Islamic World, and success of the independence movements of Kashmir and Palestine. Various resolutions were also adopted in majalis. A resolution strongly condemned the electronic and print media for neglecting the special day of Ummul Momneen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.).
Another resolution demanded the restoration of dignity and honour of Jannat-ul-Baqee and Janna-tul-Moalla where the desecrated holy graves are challenging Muslim world and OIC. The resolution demanded from the government of Pakistan to press the Saudi government on diplomatic level and demand in line with 21 May 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement the reconstruction of holy graves.
Participants of Majalis reiterated their full resolve for presenting any sacrifice on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for the mission of Wila and Aza. END TNFJ chief’s message on Demise Anniversary of Maliktul Arab (SA)
