Syria threatens to hit Golan if Israel strikes again

LONDON: Syrian Foreign Minister Farouq Al-Shara has warned his country will strike back if Israel attacks again, and could hit Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights.

Al-Shara’s warning came in a British Sunday newspaper interview.

“If we are attacked again our people will not stand for it and we have to carry out the will of the people,” he told the Sunday Telegraph.
