Karachi incident “open terrorism”, TNFJ official By: Salman Alvi RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan (TNFJ) Spokesman while condemning the loss of seven lives in a firing on the Suparco van in Karachi on Friday has expressed shock on this incident and termed it an open act of terrorism and a challenge for government.
In a statement issued here from Tehreek’s headquarters, he said that terrorism is escalating because government and opposition have set banned groups as their hanger-on. He strongly demanded from the government to implement the presidential Anti-Terrorism Ordinance and deal the terrorists with iron hand in order to eradicate terrorism because the government, which fails in providing protection to people, has no justification to rule the country. TNFJ spokesman said that to affiliate terror victims with any sect or school of thought by electronic and print media is a great conspiracy against Pakistan and Islam. He appealed the countrymen to understand such kinds of things and remain alert. He expressed his grief with bereaved families. END |
