Bahrainis celebrate Maulidol Imam Ali (as)

MANAMA, Bahrain: Marking the birth anniversary of Maula-e-Mottaqiyan Al-Imam Ali (pbuh), grand celebrations were held across Bahrain with throngs extending greetings in the court of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp)’s family on the auspicious occasion.

Abol A’immah Al-Imam Ali (pbuh) – son of Hadhrat Abo-Taleb (pbuh) and Hadhrat Fatemah bint-e-Assad (pbuh) - was born in Baytullah, Mecca, on 13 Rajab, 30 years after the year of elephant (Aamol Feel).

Addressing ehtafal molidol Imam Ali (pbuh) at Hussainiyah Al-Haaj Ahmed bin Khamis, the speakers paid rich tributes to Sayedol Ausiya (pbuh). Those who addressed and recited eulogies are Jafar Al-Qash’ami, Sheikh Ali Al-Hawedi, poet Abdoz Zahraa Al-Maulati and Abo-Torab qasidah group.

Festivals were also witnessed at Maatam Al-Imam Al-Baqer (AS) Bouri, Hussainiyah Al-Qassab Manama, Maatam bin Sallum Manama, Masjid Fatimah-tuz-Zahra (SA) Hamd, Masjid Al-Momin, Maatam Ad-Darah, Maatam Al-Ajam Al-Kabir, Hussainiyah bin Zubr, Maatam As-Samamik Manama, Maatam Al-Haaj Ali Al-Mulla Sanad and Maatam Raas Ar-Rumman and Maatam Al-Imam Ali.

After the ehtafalaat, desserts were served.
