Swarms condole Ahlul Bayt (a) in Bahrain on Rajab 15

MANAMA, Bahrain: Martyrdom anniversary of Aqeelah Bani Hashem, grand daughter of Prophet Muhammad (s) and Khadija-tul-Kobra (sa), daughter of Ali (as) and Fatemah (sa), sister of Al-Hasnayn (as), Sayyedah Zaynab (sa) was observed in Bahrain on Friday, Rajab 15.

Mourning programs comprised of mourning gatherings, processions and latmiyaat began from Friday night (night between Thursday and Friday) to commemorate the occasion and concluded late on Friday.

Thousands of mourners attended the programs and offered their condolences to the Prophet (s) and his Ahlul Bayt (as). Speakers highlighted the seerah of Batlah-e-Karbala whose discerning addresses shook the foundations of Yazidi palaces, while dirge-chanters recited dirges.

Late on Thursday, a grand mourning procession was taken out from Maatam bin salloom. Ar-Radoud Al-Hussaini Yousaf ar-Romi and Ar-Radoud Al-Hussaini As-Sayyed Ibrahim offered elegies.
