Iran mourns Aqeelah Bani Hashim (SA)’s martyrdom

HOLY CITY OF MASH’HAD, Iran: The history of Karbala is based on two strong features: sacrifice of Imam Hossein (as) to protect Din & Shariah and rising of Hazrat Zaynab (as) to safeguard his message, the speakers in Iran said while addressing Majalis-e-Aza held to mourn the martyrdom of Hazrat Zaynab (as).

Throngs attended the commemorative programs that were witnessed at the holy shrines of Hazrat Imam Ali Ar-Reza (as) in the holy city of Mash’had and Hazrat Seyedah Masoumah (as) in the holy city of Qom besides different mosques and hosseiniyaat.

Black mourning banners inscribed with condolence messages to Imamul Asr (af) were hanged in the shrines, mosques and hosseiniyaat. The mourners by performing azadari paid homage to the daughter of Imam Ali (as) and Hazrat Fatemah (as).
