Death anniversary of Ayat Abtahi marked in Iran

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: First death anniversary of Faqih Al-Asouli, Mofassir and Marje Al-Kabeer Grand Ayatllah Sayyed Movahhed Abtahi was observed in Iran on Rajab 15 that also marks the martyrdom day of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp)’s granddaughter Sayyedah Zainab (pbuh).

On this occasion, a huge Majlis-e-Tabeeni was held at husseiniyah An-Najaf Al-Ashraf in the holy city of Qom on Rajab 15, Friday night after Maghreb and Isha prayers.

Speakers threw light on the life of the late Ayatullah and lauded his great services for the religion. Throngs attended the program.
