Indian troops martyr four in Held Kashmir; dozens arrested By: A. A. Rathor SRINAGAR, Held Kashmir: Indian occupying forces on Friday martyred four Kashmiri freedom fighters and using batons arrested 55 demonstrators in Indian occupied Kashmir. According to reports All Parties Huriyyat Conference (APHC) organized the protest in Srinagar on Friday against human rights violations by the Indian forces. The protestors led by the Kashmiri leader Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Habi wanted to present a memorandum to the United Nations observers against Indian state terrorism. Among the arrested were Dr. Ghulam Habi, Muhammad Shafi, Firdos Ahmed Shah, Yasmin Raja and other leaders. Separately, the four freedom fighters were martyred when they were asked to surrender but they ignored, and consequently the troops opened fire on them. END |
